Essential Responsibilities:
- Support mining operations by performing various tasks on the labor crew
- Complete production reporting and other required documentation
- Communicate effectively and professionally with team members
- Lead both safety and production efforts by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous mining experience is preferred but not required
- Awareness and understanding of mining safety and MSHA policies (preferred not required)
- Current MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal certification is preferred (training will be provided if needed)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Work Conditions:
- Varying shift rotation working 10 to 12 hours per day
- Overtime rates apply after 40 hours worked per week
- Transportation from Elko and Carlin, NV provided
- Site based position with the opportunity for long term employment
