What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Detailer position at LED Transportation?
LED Transportation is seeking dedicated team members to support our transportation fleet with detailing, fueling, and light maintenance of executive vehicles and motorcoaches. We offer both full-time and part-time positions for the evening and weekend schedules. Candidates must be able to work independently and take initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform interior and exterior vehicle detailing on our executive fleet, including minivans to motorcoaches.
- Ensure vehicles meet LED cleanliness standards in a timely manner prior to assignment for use.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines when handling cleaning products and operating equipment.
- Fuel vehicles as required, ensuring proper fuel type and levels.
- Promptly report any maintenance needs to the maintenance team.
- Engage in seasonal tasks, such as mowing in the summer and plowing/shoveling snow in the winter.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio driver’s license.
- Clean driving record.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must pass a background check and possible drug and alcohol screening.
- Must be reliable, self-motivated, and enjoy working independently.
- Previous experience in vehicle maintenance or detailing is encouraged, but not required.
Compensation:
- Pay is based on experience.
- 90-day probationary period.
