What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Grade Teacher position at Lecompton Elementary School?
We are excited to offer a teaching opportunity at a very attractive location in the state of Kansas! Perry-Lecompton Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a certified teaching position with a start date of January 4th, 2027. Applicants must hold a current Kansas teaching license with the appropriate endorsement for this position. The position is 1st grade at Lecompton Elementary in Lecompton, KS.
Each classroom in the building is equipped with a Promethean board, and each teacher is issued a classroom desktop computer and/or a laptop, plus an iPad for teaching and administrative tasks. USD 343 is a 1:1 iPad district. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using technology for instruction and communication with minimal support.
We generally have various supplemental coaching/sponsor positions available.
