LECOM Health Medical Center and Behavioral Health Pavilion, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is currently looking for a Radiology Technologist (Full Time) to join our team.
Position Summary:
LECOM Medical Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technologist to join our Radiology Department. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, operate specialized equipment including a C-arm in the Operating Room (OR), and provide high-quality patient care. This role also includes on-call responsibilities to support surgical and emergency cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, including C-arm fluoroscopy units in the OR for surgical procedures.
- Ensure accurate positioning of patients and proper radiation safety measures.
- Prepare and maintain imaging records and documentation in the PACS system.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during intraoperative imaging.
- Respond to emergency imaging requests and participate in on-call rotations as scheduled.
- Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout the imaging process.
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
- State licensure as an X-Ray Technologist in Pennsylvania.
- Previous experience operating C-arm equipment in an OR setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and participate in on-call coverage.
