Regional Scheduler

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for scheduling of projects and working with others on updates and/or delays as projects develop.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Prepare conceptual & RFP level schedules for use in the pursuit of new CM work.
2. Prepare detailed construction schedules for reference and in the pursuit of hard-bid work.
3. Work with project teams after award to develop detailed milestone and construction schedules.
4. Maintenance and update project schedules with input from project teams as deemed necessary by management.
5. Report project progress to appropriate stakeholders, including but not limited to: LeChase project and executive management, owner’s representatives, subcontractors, etc.
6. Some travel may be required for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Comply with all corporate and project specific safety protocols.
2. Ability to work well and communicate within a team setting. This position will need to interface with all departments in the company, as well as outside contacts and stakeholders.
3. Understanding of new and renovation of commercial construction processes in a variety of market sectors we service.
4. Experience in the development of logical sequencing of the work, contract durations and phasing.
5. Understanding of the scheduling processes, logic relationships, networks and Critical Path Method scheduling.
6. Must understand and be able to quantify and articulate the impact an activity has on the critical path and the completion date of the project.
7. Perform additional preconstruction responsibilities as required.
8. Strong computer and / or technical skills.
9. Strong written and oral communication skills required.
10. Well versed in the operation of P6 and Microsoft Project.

EDUCATION / BACKGROUND:

1. Engineering, architecture or construction related degree required. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
2. Must have 3 to 5 year’s experience.
