New Restaurant coming to Edinboro! Looking for friendly and professional servers who can provide excellent service to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards are maintained at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and open/close procedures efficiently
- Bussing tables, resetting dining areas
- Managing reservations
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations quickly
- Culinary experience or background in food preparation enhances your ability to answer guest questions confidently
- Effective time management skills to handle busy service periods smoothly
- Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to maximize sales opportunities
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and transaction accuracy
- Experience with serving in busy environments is advantageous
