President - Boutique Hospitality Group

LeBLANC + SMITH
New Orleans, LA Full Time
POSTED ON 7/29/2026 CLOSED ON 8/12/2026

What are the responsibilities and job description for the President - Boutique Hospitality Group position at LeBLANC + SMITH?

We are hiring a leader for LeBLANC SMITH!

LeBLANC SMITH is a boutique hospitality company founded by Robert LeBlanc, creating 21st Century Southern Hospitality experiences across our restaurants, bars, and hotels, including Sylvain, Barrel Proof, The Chloe, Anna's, The Will and The Way, and Mahony's. Our vision is to enable all people, guests and team members alike, to live joyful, balanced, and fulfilling lives, and to develop great leaders along the way.

We are seeking a President to lead the company's operations. This individual will be entrusted with translating our founder's vision into a clear, disciplined operating plan, then executing it with consistency across every property. This is the most senior operating role in the company and sits above all current members of the leadership team.

The role

This role leads executive decision-making across operations, finance, brand, and guest experience, ensuring each property delivers consistent, high-quality hospitality aligned with our founder’s vision. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding senior leaders and general managers, reviewing financial and operational metrics, optimizing guest satisfaction, and driving revenue and profitability. The President collaborates on brand positioning, expansion initiatives, and capital projects, while nurturing a people-first environment that supports talent development, cross-property collaboration, and long-term organizational growth.

The President will hold full accountability for company performance, including P&L results, operational execution, and the health of our culture. This person will build the systems, cadence, and leadership bench required to scale LeBLANC SMITH while preserving the values that define it. We are looking for someone who understands that culture and efficiency are not competing priorities. At LeBLANC SMITH, they are pursued together, in equal measure.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a leader who embodies the characteristics we ask of every leader at LeBLANC SMITH: an entrepreneurial, self-starting spirit, sound judgment and strategic thinking, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to teach and develop others into leaders in their own right. The successful candidate will have prior experience leading a company or a significant division, will be comfortable holding both guests and team members to a high standard with warmth, and will bring grace, consistency, and humility to the role, even under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated executive leadership experience in hospitality or related service industries, with a track record of managing multi-unit restaurant, bar, and/or hotel operations.
  • Strong strategic planning, financial management, and analytical skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance optimization.
  • Expertise in guest experience and brand stewardship, with the ability to translate a hospitality vision into consistent, on-the-ground service standards.
  • Proven people leadership capabilities, including team development, coaching, succession planning, and fostering inclusive, high-performance cultures.
  • Experience in business development, partnerships, and market positioning, ideally within boutique or lifestyle hospitality segments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills when working with internal stakeholders, investors, vendors, and community partners.
  • Comfort with data-informed decision-making and use of hospitality technology platforms for operations and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent executive experience is highly beneficial.
  • Deep knowledge of or strong interest in New Orleans culture and contemporary Southern hospitality, with a commitment to community engagement.
