Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Sales team member to join our retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with the ability to engage with customers effectively. This role involves handling transactions, providing product information, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
Duties
- Process customer transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the sales floor is presentable.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in basic math calculations.
- Will be trained to cut keys, fill propane tanks, cut glass and plexiglass, mix paint etc.
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to work well with customers and coworkers while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work Saturdays.
