Job Summary
Experienced veterinary surgical technician: Small animal GP, U/C and Exotics 5 doctor practice
Join a forward thinking team that puts both patient care and staff wellbeing at the center of all we do. LVH offers a low cost spay/neuter clinic for non-profits and has their own GP surgical load PLUS overflow from larger hospitals for same day surgeries. The property houses 2 separate buildings. 1) Our Wellness Center is like a day in a tranquil spay. We provide wellness exams, acupuncture visits, annual visits and first visits for puppies, kittens and exotics at a pace that fosters a patient first exam and a relationship with clients. We value each patient and each appointment and enjoy getting to know our clients better! 2) Our Hospital, in the historic dairy barn, is full of illness visits, Urgent Care, ultrasounds, dentals and GP level surgical procedures in our well-equipped facility. This facility includes digital radiography and dental radiography, ultrasonography, a surgical suite, pharmacy and in-house lab to ensure excellent patient care. We love surgery and require great skills with experience.
Range $23-25 per hour depending on experience and skillset

History: The Lebanon Veterinary Hospital has been owned and operated by local family after local family and in 2023 partnered with another local family, Pieper Veterinary, allowing us to offer services beyond Lebanon. Pieper Veterinary offers emergency and specialty throughout CT. Neighbors working for neighbors to help keep our pets with their families for as long as possible.
Requirements:
-More than 3 years of Veterinary Technician experience
-Friendly, polite and loves people almost as much as pets!
-Needs to be attentive to details
-Medical math and surgical familiarity a must-anesthetic monitoring, IV catheter placement, instrument care

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
