Duties
- Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal using proper techniques to promote tree health and safety.
- Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely for elevated work on trees or landscape features.
- Assist with rigging tasks to securely lift and move heavy limbs or equipment.
- Support lawn care and landscape maintenance activities to enhance overall site appearance.
- Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment, tools, and work sites regularly.
- Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and planning landscape projects when required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Growing experience in tree care, landscaping, or horticulture preferred; a strong interest in developing expertise in these areas is essential.
- Knowledge of tree trimming techniques, landscape maintenance practices, and general lawn care.
- Ability to operate bucket trucks and other landscaping equipment safely.
- Familiarity with rigging procedures for lifting heavy limbs or materials.
- Basic understanding of GIS applications related to landscape planning is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
