Job Overview: The Lebanon School District seeks a Facilities Coordinator to assist in managing the operations and maintenance of the Facilities Department. Job Responsibilities: - Assists the Director of Facilities in the day-to-day management of department staff, including work order assignments, custodial zone distribution, procuring equipment, scheduling staff training, and event planning. - Works with the Director of Facilities to develop and maintain a district-wide asset inventory, which will be used to expand the Lebanon School District’s Capital Improvement Plan, and to establish further preventative and routine maintenance programs on District equipment. - Has strong attention to detail and uses Excel, Trello, Incident IQ, and other computer programs to organize, track, and complete projects effectively. - Works closely with Department Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot and resolve ongoing maintenance issues. - Routinely meets with contractors to source bids for Facilities Department projects and service contracts throughout the year, and sources quotes for equipment replacement and repair. - Works closely with the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Facilities to plan for and meet the needs of various events in District space throughout the year. - In collaboration with the Director of Facilities, prepares reports to the state and city regarding safety, fire, safety plan updates, and other inspections. Meets with local and state inspectors to conduct routine safety walkthroughs. - Occasionally assists with light shoveling and salting, or moving small items to help out as needed, though not regularly assigned to such duties. Is willing to assist with light maintenance responsibilities temporarily if staffing shortages arise. - Accesses the Department budget and spend funds carefully to resolve tasks. - Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Facilities.
