Position Title: Senior Accountant
Position Type / Location / Compensation
• Full Time (37.5-hour work week, leaving at 1 p.m. each Friday)

• Compensation: $65,000 annually
• Reports to: Accounting Manager
Position Overview
Lebanon County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities is looking for a highly skilled Senior
Accountant responsible for advanced accounting functions, financial reporting, reconciliations,
and oversight of multiple financial entities. The Senior Accountant will support the
organization's financial integrity through detailed analysis, reporting, and compliance activities
while keeping accuracy and professionalism in all interactions. This is an on-site position.
Duties:
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Create and send reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Processing payroll.
- Record recurring journal entries.
- Calculate management invoices for payment.
- Conduct account analysis and general ledger review to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Create and send quarterly billing statements.
- Provide analysis and workpapers for audits.
- Assistance with the development and implementation of accounting procedures.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reports to support management decisions.
- Collaborate with department staff and external auditors as needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and reporting requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
- Minimum of four (4) years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- A strong attention to detail and an elevated level of accuracy.
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and database software.
- Must have initiative, good judgment, and tact.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in governmental or non-profit accounting preferred
- Experience with Yardi and UKG preferred.
- Physical condition commensurate with the duties of the position.
Work Environment:
• Office-based role with interactions with staff and auditors.
• May involve occasional travel between offices within Lebanon County.
• Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and lift to 25 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation.
