Job Summary
As a Correctional Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining order within correctional facilities and overseeing the safety and security of inmates.
Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of cells, common areas, and other facilities
- Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain order
- Monitor inmate activities and behavior
- Respond to emergencies and security breaches
- Escort inmates within the facility
- Conduct searches for contraband
- Document incidents and write reports
Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong conflict management skills
- Knowledge of law enforcement procedures
- Familiarity with CCTV monitoring
- Proficient in report writing
- Military experience is a plus
- Possession of relevant certificates
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.16 - $35.06 per hour
