What You'll Do
As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of personal insurance clients by focusing on three key areas:
Growing Existing Relationships
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell insurance products.
- Increase the number of policies and services per household.
- Conduct account reviews to ensure clients have the coverage they need.
- Generate new business through outbound calling, networking, community events, and creative marketing initiatives.
- Follow up on leads and continuously re-quote prospects to win new business.
- Re-engage former customers and build long-term relationships.
- Maintain regular contact with clients to strengthen relationships and improve retention.
- Educate customers on insurance products, coverage options, and policy benefits.
- Provide outstanding customer service and personalized insurance solutions.
- Identify basic life insurance needs and connect clients with appropriate resources and solutions.
- Ohio Property & Casualty License, or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence, engage, and build trust with customers.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and proactively pursuing sales opportunities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain compliance and documentation standards.
