What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, companies, and brokers.
- Work with Producer to coordinate new business, renewal strategy, and company selection.
- Prepare Insurance proposals, summaries, and related documents.
- Order and issue binders, policies, endorsements, certificates, invoices and other related items and forward to client with appropriate correspondence.
- Accompany Producer as needed to client meetings.
- Manage daily inbound/outbound correspondence: mail, email, faxes, phone calls, and voicemails.
- Maintain current knowledge of insurance coverages and exposures, as well as the insurance products and markets available to cover exposures.
- Complete projects as required by supervisor.
- Energetically focus efforts on meeting goals and objectives.
- Active Property & Casualty license, or willing to get licensed in 90 days
- Experience in Commercial Lines preferred
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Experience with computer software
- Familiarity with AMS360 is preferred
- Must have ability to work independently in a multi-tasking customer service setting.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to proofread the work of self or others with a high degree of accuracy
- Prefer at least a high school education or equivalent continuing education
