The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, managing clerical tasks, and supporting the administrative operations of the clinic. Our Patient Service Representatives lead our First Impressions team and are of utmost importance in ensuring the best patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Verify insurance information and assist patients with any related inquiries.
- Maintain accurate medical records and files in accordance with clinic policies.
- Utilize EClinicalWorks and Meditech software for scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and care.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth operations.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in patient service or medical administrative support preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
- Proficient in clerical skills including typing, filing, and data management.
- Experience with insurance verification processes is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly EClinicalWorks, is advantageous.
