The Human Resources Department is collecting applications for those employees interested in the Admin Intern position for one of the identified buildings for the Summer Program for 2026.
Program Details
The Summer program runs four mornings per week (Monday-Thursday) from June 1nd - 25th.
- Work Times: 7:55 am -3:55 pm
- Locations: Henry Leavenworth Elementary
Program Requirements
- Must have completed all requirements for Administrative Certification from KSDE or equivalent
- Assist with the implementation of curriculum for the Summer Program.
- Participate in all trainings related to the Summer Program
- Will coordinate and facilitate staff trainings
- Program Communication
- Staff and instruction supervision
- Breakfast & lunch supervision
- Dealing with behavior and absenteeism
- Liaison between staff and the Board of Education
- Verify Summer Program staff timesheets
Compensation
USD 453 Admin Intern working the Summer Program will be paid at the rate of $45/hour. All employees are required to fill out timesheets for Summer Program duties.
Selection
The Human Resources Department and Teaching & Learning Department will do their best to have a selection made by the end of March.
