What are the responsibilities and job description for the Afternoon Kitchen Staffer position at Leaven Kitchen?
Working at a shared kitchen space Monday thru Friday from 3pm to 7pm. Responsibilities include cleaning, trash removal, supply inventory, daily space inspections, and enforcing kitchen rules for shared use.
Typical daily duties will include:
- Clean shared areas of the kitchen, office space and bathrooms and take out trash.
- Enforce Kitchen rules and act as the main point of contact for members using the kitchen.
- Follow a checklist for daily duties in the kitchen, including refilling paper products and restroom cleaning/inspection.
- Inspect and clean stations after member use to make sure they are ready for the next member.
- Basic troubleshooting of mixers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment
- Take in deliveries, handle customer pickups and work with maintenance contractors
Requirements:
- Ability to work on your own and follow a checklist to make sure all tasks are completed. Must be able to multi-task and get back to checklist if pulled away briefly.
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience and/or previous cleaning experience
- Ability to lift 25-30 pounds and physically able to clean
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- kitchen or restaurant: 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
