CNC Lathe Operator
Leatherstocking Timber Products Inc. is a locally owned and operating company seeking a CNC Lathe Operator looking for a career.
Responsibilities
· Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
· Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning
· Perform quality control checks to ensure parts meet specifications
· Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software
· Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
· Set up and operate CNC lathes and other machines such as milling machines
Skills
· A wood working background is preferred
· Ability to use CAD/CAM software for programming CNC machines
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
· Familiarity with quality control procedures and using measuring tools such as micrometers
· Knowledge of programming logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
· 3 years previous experience operating CNC lathes and other CNC machines is preferred
· Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
· Must be reliable and have reliable transportation
· Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
