Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to accurately frame residential structures.
- Erect metal building frameworks, including metal stud framing and roof trusses, ensuring alignment with specifications.
- Execute framing tasks using hand tools and power tools with precision, including measuring, cutting, and assembling wood or metal components.
- Perform masonry work such as stucco application and siding installation to enhance building durability and aesthetics.
- Conduct heavy lifting safely and efficiently to move materials and structural components into place.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential framing, metal building erection, or related construction roles.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other essential construction equipment.
- Knowledge of rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, roofing, masonry, siding, trim carpentry, and woodworking.
- Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately and execute heavy lifting safely.
- Familiarity with construction site safety practices and heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations required during framing projects.
