What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operation by keeping production equipment operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and production performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Diagnose equipment issues using electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, testing equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
- Repair and replace machine components while following manufacturer specifications and engineering drawings.
- Perform machine modifications and fabricate replacement parts using machine shop equipment and welding processes.
- Support continuous improvement efforts that increase equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Maintain maintenance records and communicate equipment issues clearly with engineering and production teams.
- Learn from experienced technicians and engineers while continuing to expand your technical expertise.
- Support a safe work environment by following all company safety procedures.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- Six or more years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment in a production environment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
- Experience working with AC/DC electrical systems (up to 480V three-phase), motors, controls, relays, solenoids, sensors, PLC I/O, and machine components.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) certification.
- Experience with CNC equipment and automated manufacturing systems.
- Welding and machining experience.
- Forklift, scissor lift, overhead crane, or hoist certification (or ability to obtain certification).
