This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on CNC programming, fixture design, and continuous improvement. You’ll work across production and new product introduction (NPI) to drive efficiency, improve tooling performance, and deliver high-quality results.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM tools
- Lead and support fixture design for production and prototype (“garage”) environments
- Drive cycle time reduction and tool life improvements
- Evaluate and implement new tooling solutions
- Support machine upgrades and process enhancements (coolant systems, in-process gauging, automation)
- Contribute to Fusion 360 migration and standardization
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to maintain production flow
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and CI teams to deliver results
What You Bring
- 3–7 years of CNC programming experience
- Strong background in CAD/CAM programming and machining processes
- Experience with fixture design and process optimization
- Hands-on experience improving cycle time, tooling performance, and efficiency
- Ability to work across teams and drive continuous improvement
Additional Preferred Education, Experience and Certifications
- Experience with Fusion 360
- Background in high-mix, precision manufacturing
- Experience supporting NPI or prototype environments
