Teacher - $1,500 Hiring Bonus | No Lesson Planning or Grading

LearnWell is seeking a passionate and creative full-time Teacher in Anchorage, AK to support elementary students in a welcoming behavioral health setting. With small class sizes typically ranging from 8 to 15 students, you'll have the opportunity to provide individualized academic support, build meaningful connections with students, and help them stay on track with their education during treatment.

• Consistent schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Full-time opportunity: 40 hours per week during the school year

About LearnWell

For more than 26 years, LearnWell has partnered with hospitals and behavioral health facilities to provide educational services to school-age patients. Our network of 200 educators helps students stay connected to their education during treatment and successfully transition back to the classroom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Active Alaska state teaching license
• Comfortable working with students across grades K–12
• Strong organizational skills and communication abilities
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to students' academic needs
• Reliable transportation
