Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative substitute teacher to join our team in Raleigh, NC on a part-time basis from September 2026- December 2026. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.
Position entails a 20-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday, 11:30am-3:30pm. This role will run from September 2026 - December 2026!

Qualifications
- B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- North Carolina Teaching License (required)
- Comfortable working with in grades 5-12
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
- Reliable Transportation
