Job Opportunity
We are seeking passionate and creative LBS1 teachers to join our team in Northbrook, IL on a full-time and part-time basis for the school year.
This unique position involves working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.
Class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time, and you will be responsible for planning and delivering daily lesson plans, providing individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicating about student progress as needed.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily lesson plans
- Provide individualized assistance to students
- Communicate with colleagues and administrators about student progress
- Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate attendance and session reports

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- An LBS1 teaching license for the state of Illinois
- Comfortable working with 8-18 year old students
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
- Reliable transportation
