What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/toddler Teacher position at Learning World?
Overview
We are looking to hire someone with a love and passion for young children. The ideal candidate will be patient, puntcual, works well with others, good communicator, and willing to learn.
Duties include but are not limited to
- Create and implement your lesson plans, following our curriculum, that is age appropriate and geared towards individual developmental needs
- Manage and actively supervise all children and persons that come through your classroom
- Observe and document children's daily progress
- Communicate with families daily for updates, questions or concerns
- Keep a clean classroom and surrounding areas

Requirements
- Knowledge of childhood development stages, behavior management techniques, and classroom management best practices.
- Prior classroom experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, especially with infants and toddlers.
- Experience developing curriculum content that includes math, physical education, and literacy activities tailored for early learners.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, colleagues, and community partners.
- Demonstrated ability to plan lessons aligned with standardized testing benchmarks for early childhood education programs.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
