In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders with a focus on pediatric populations. Responsibilities * Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions using standardized tools and clinical observations. * Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with each client’s needs and goals, including strategies for early intervention when appropriate. * Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, social communication skills, and swallowing safety. * Collaborate closely with educators, healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to coordinate care plans and ensure consistency across environments. * Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment progress notes, and therapy outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards. * Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and adapt intervention strategies as needed. * Educate clients and their families about communication disorders and provide guidance on exercises or activities to support ongoing improvement at home or school.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. * Current state licensure and/or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. * Experience in home setting or school settings preferred. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
