What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional (DSP)-Part-Time Weekends position at LEARNING SERVICES CORPORATION?
Hourly Rate: $18-$20 per hour, based on experience and education
Schedule Options:
Any mix of Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday 7a-3p and/or 1p-9p

We are searching for Part-Time Direct Support Professionals to work in our 8 bed residential programs located in West Chester, Malvern, and/or Paoli
- This position provides minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote our clients’ success in daily living tasks, recreational activities, and vocational pursuits
- Responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care and hygiene (grooming, bathing and feeding), therapies, and driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities, and other outings
- Candidates must be comfortable working with a variety of medically complicated and behaviorally challenged clients
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED is required***
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
- Ability to lift 50lbs
***Diplomas from non-U.S. educational institutions must include professional documentation/evaluation that the non-U.S. educational program is equivalent to or exceeds U.S. educational requirements; documentation is required prior to becoming an employee
