Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Speech and Debate Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for speech and debate, excellent communication and teaching skills, and extensive experience coaching students at various levels.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement effective coaching strategies to help students improve their skills in speech and debate.
-Provide individualized feedback and guidance to each student, helping them to identify their strengths and areas for improvement.
-Create and oversee practice schedules and competition schedules.
-Organize and lead team meetings, as well as attend competitions and tournaments.
-Keep up-to-date with current speech and debate trends and techniques, and adjust coaching strategies as necessary.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Communication, Education, or related field.
-Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Strong organizational and leadership skills.
-Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
