What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Teacher/Caregiver (1yr exp req) position at Learning Garden?
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team at our in home child care program. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves implementing engaging curriculum activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in children aged birth to 12 years. We are a licensed home environment with lower numbers than a center and a family like feel. More independence and mixed ages group of children.
We have full time and part time positions available.
- Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that engage and inspire young children.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where each child feels valued and encouraged to explore.
- Utilize play-based learning techniques to encourage cognitive, physical, and social development.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and families to ensure a holistic approach to each child's education.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with young children.
- A basic understanding of child development and an interest in learning more.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to build strong relationships with students and families.
- People who are creative, enthusiastic and adaptable!
- Course work in ECE is great, but not required.
