As an Assistant Teacher, you will:
- Be an integral part of a collaborative 3-person teaching team, contributing to the success of every child.
- Help design and implement lessons that align with our curriculum, ensuring that each activity is meaningful and engaging for the children.
- Foster a positive, child-centered learning environment that encourages curiosity and development.
- Observe and document children's growth, behavior, and development, using your insights to support their unique learning needs.
- Work in a close-knit, family-oriented team where everyone supports one another and works together to provide the best care for the children we serve.
What we're looking for:
- Experience and Education: Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, an Infant/Toddler CDA, or equivalent certification. At least one year of experience working with young children, particularly in an infant or toddler setting, is preferred.
- Passion for Working with Children: You have a genuine love for early childhood education and understand the importance of creating a nurturing and inclusive environment for children and families.
- Other Requirements: A valid driver's license, an understanding of the needs of low-income families, and an appreciation for parents as the primary educators of their children.
