An established multidisciplinary engineering organization is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership for challenging building and infrastructure projects. The selected engineer will oversee electrical design activities, coordinate work across multiple disciplines, and help ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and client expectations.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical engineering scope for medium- and large-scale projects.
- Develop and review electrical system designs, technical calculations, specifications, drawings, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate electrical requirements with architectural, mechanical, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
- Guide projects through planning, design development, documentation, and construction-related support.
- Confirm that designs satisfy applicable codes, professional standards, client requirements, and internal quality expectations.
- Conduct technical reviews and participate in established quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Identify design risks, resolve technical challenges, and recommend practical engineering solutions.
- Communicate project status, technical findings, and design recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support proposal development, scope preparation, project planning, and technical presentations.
- Provide direction and mentorship to junior engineers and design professionals.
- Assist with workload planning, employee development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as Project Manager for selected engagements when assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Nine or more years of progressively responsible experience within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
- Demonstrated success leading electrical engineering work on complex, multidisciplinary projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical design practices, applicable codes, industry standards, and quality-control requirements.
- Advanced proficiency with electrical engineering design and analysis applications.
- Experience producing clear, accurate, compliant, and construction-ready design documents.
- Strong technical writing, presentation, and client-communication skills.
- Ability to organize competing priorities and collaborate effectively with multiple project disciplines.
- Previous experience coaching, mentoring, or developing engineering staff.
- An active Professional Engineer license is required.
- Exceptionally qualified candidates holding Engineer-in-Training credentials may be considered based on the depth and relevance of their experience.
