Licensed Clinical Psychologist – Evaluation Service

A growing healthcare organization is seeking experienced Licensed Clinical Psychologists to provide psychological evaluation services supporting government and federally funded healthcare programs.

This position is ideal for psychologists who enjoy conducting focused clinical assessments in a structured environment without the responsibilities of ongoing therapy, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, medication management, or long-term patient care.

The psychologist will conduct comprehensive evaluations, complete accurate clinical documentation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver timely, objective, and high-quality assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and behavioral-health evaluations.
• Perform psychosocial, psychological, and diagnostic interviews.
• Review medical, behavioral-health, and supporting documentation.
• Assess psychological symptoms, functional limitations, and relevant clinical history.
• Prepare clear, thorough, and timely evaluation reports.
• Complete all required clinical forms and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate information within electronic health record systems.
• Ensure evaluations meet applicable quality, regulatory, and documentation requirements.
• Communicate professionally with patients, clinical staff, and program representatives.
• Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Participate in documentation reviews and quality-assurance activities.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Psychology degree or Doctor of Philosophy degree in Psychology.
• Active, unrestricted psychologist license in the state where services will be performed.
• Strong psychological interviewing and diagnostic-assessment skills.
• Experience preparing detailed clinical documentation and evaluation reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage documentation deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Comfortable working within a structured clinical environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, quality, and timely documentation.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduation from an APA-accredited doctoral program.
• At least two years of postdoctoral clinical experience.
• Experience conducting disability, functional-capacity, or compensation evaluations.
• Experience performing Veterans Affairs disability evaluations or Compensation and Pension examinations.
• Familiarity with Disability Benefits Questionnaires.
• Experience using electronic health record systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with clinical quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
