Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Associate Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The Associate Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom where children can explore, learn, and thrive.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing daily activities.
- Maintain a nurturing, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development through play-based learning.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to prepare materials, observe children, and document progress.
- Communicate effectively with families and team members.
- Uphold state licensing regulations and center policies.
Qualifications
Per New Hampshire Child Care Licensing standards:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Completion of at least 9 college credits in Early Childhood Education or experience equivalent per NH licensing requirements.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Background check and health requirements as mandated by NH licensing.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth.
