What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement comprehensive student programming.
- Partner with families and caregivers to support meaningful outcomes across school, home, and community environments.
- Lead the development of compassionate, proactive behavior support systems that promote student success.
- Supervise, mentor, and support Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
- Conduct functional and skills-based assessments to identify student strengths and areas of need.
- Train and coach staff to confidently implement individualized behavior support strategies.
- Monitor student progress through ongoing data collection, analysis, and collaborative review meetings to drive informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
- BCBA certification and Connecticut Behavior Analyst license must be in good standing (or license-eligible)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience working with children or adolescents in school or educational settings.
- Skilled in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
- Ability to coach, mentor, and inspire teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
- Excellent data analysis skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills.
