About Us:
Learn, Play, Grow Children’s Therapy Services is a compassionate, child-centered pediatric therapy clinic dedicated to helping children thrive through occupational, physical, and speech therapy. We are seeking a dependable and energetic Bilingual Therapy Aide to support our therapy team and create a welcoming, safe environment for our clients and their families.
Position Summary:
The Bilingual Therapy Aide supports therapists and administrative staff with the preparation and support of daily therapy operations. This role does not involve direct patient care, but does involve being present during some therapy sessions and interpreting for our patients and families. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive environment for children, families, and staff. This is more than just a support role — you'll play a key part in keeping our space clean, welcoming, and running smoothly for kids, families, and therapists alike!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation support for our Spanish-speaking clients and families during and around their treatment sessions
- Assist therapists with setup and transitions before, during, and after sessions.
- Provide friendly, respectful assistance to families and children.
- Prepare, clean, and organize therapy rooms and equipment between sessions.
- Prepare food for feeding sessions with care and cleanliness.
- Monitor and sanitize equipment, toys, and surfaces.
- Support front desk staff with answering phones, checking in clients, and general communication.
- Help organize therapy materials and maintain clinic cleanliness.
- Assist with basic child supervision (non-clinical) under therapist's direction.
- Track inventory and report supplies needing restocking or repair.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (verbal and written communication)
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Flexible, self-directed, team-oriented, and proactive.
- Friendly, upbeat, and fun-loving personality with Strong communications skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, child-focused environment.
- Proficient in basic word processing and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
- Must be reliable, organized, and have strong interpersonal skills.
