Job Title: RN – Medical/ Surgical

Job Type: 13-weeks contract
Shift Details: Days | 3×12 hrs | 36 hrs/week
Pay Rate: $65/hour - $74/hour

Job Summary:

The RN Med/Surg will deliver coordinated and high-quality nursing care to an assigned group of patients in an acute care setting. This position requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to supervise and guide other nursing staff while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Duties:

• Provide coordinated nursing care using the nursing process for Med/Surg and Tele patients.
• Perform patient assessments, documentation, and monitor condition changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care plans.
• Supervise and guide assigned nursing staff during daily care activities.
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and family involvement.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and compliance with hospital policies.

Skills & Education:

• Solid 2 years of Telemetry & Med/Surg experience - Required
• Minimum 1-2 years of Acute care experience - Required
• Associate Degree in Nursing - Required

Licenses & Certifications:

• Active RN License in state of practice – Required.
• BLS/CPR Certification – Required.
• ACLS Certification – Required.

Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $65.00 - $74.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
