About the role

  • Location: USA - Remote


We're looking for Senior DevOps Engineers who:

  • Help us build seamless and high-performance applications and systems
  • Build state-of-the-art products with a highly collaborative effort and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely
  • Be a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is desired


What you’ll do


After joining our team, your main responsibility is to deploy, automate, maintain, and manage the production system to ensure high levels of availability, performance, and scalability. This involves:

  • Develop an automation pipeline to support the CI/CD process with integrated security gates, automated vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks
  • Deploy and monitor the infrastructure of our services on various cloud platforms
  • Lead initiatives for upgrading the systems to improve security posture, availability, reliability, and performance through proactive threat assessment and remediation
  • Work closely with the development team by rapidly deploying instances, monitoring operating efficiencies, and responding as needs arise
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement security policies as code and recommend process improvements for both operational efficiency and security compliance
  • Evaluate new technology options and vendor products with security risk assessment and compliance validation
  • Ensure critical system security through implementation of defense-in-depth strategies, best-in-class cloud security solutions, vulnerability management programs, and incident response procedures



Required Skills and Qualifications


  • At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer, together with the below:
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes and container security (Pod Security Standards, network policies, RBAC)
  • Hands-on experience in administration of AWS, GCP or Azure infrastructure, optimizing instance types, autoscaling group and multi-region networking with security best practices
  • Experience with security scanning tools (e.g., Trivy, Snyk, Aqua Security, or similar)
  • Experience with GitHub Action or other CI platforms
  • Experience with Helm
  • Experience with secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault)


Preferred Skills and Qualifications


  • Experience with Istio and service mesh security
  • Experience optimizing Docker images and implementing secure image practices
  • Experience work with a distributed platform/microservices and zero-trust architecture
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Experience with Prometheus
  • Experience with policy-as-code tools (Open Policy Agent/Gatekeeper, Falco)
  • Experience with using AI to support with the development/automation
