- Beginner through Advanced Gymnastics
- Beginner through Advanced Tumbling
- Private Lessons
- Birthday Parties
We are currently hiring Recreational Gymnastics Coaches to join our growing team. Coaches will be responsible for teaching beginner, intermediate, and/or advanced gymnastics skills in a safe, encouraging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise recreational classes and private lessons for students across various age groups and skill levels.
- Teach gymnastics skills using the Leaps & Bounds Gymnastics curriculum at each apparatus.
- Lead or assist with structured warm-ups at the start of each class.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and well-managed class environment.
- Use proper technique while spotting and ensure safety procedures are followed for all equipment.
- Assist with training and mentoring new instructors through a shadowing process.
- Encourage students and provide constructive, skill-specific corrections.
- Arrive prepared to teach using lesson plans tailored to each class level.
- Participate in Saturday birthday parties on a rotating basis among available staff when parties are scheduled. These shifts are occasional and assigned based on need and staff availability. Responsibilities include party set-up and clean-up, supervising games and activities, and assisting with food service according to the selected party package.
- Occasionally assist with basic gym upkeep and cleanliness during downtime, such as when students no-show or there are gaps between scheduled activities.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in gymnastics, cheerleading, or related athletic coaching is preferred.
- A passion for working with children and a genuine love of gymnastics are essential.
- Must be able to obtain or provide current clearances and fingerprinting.
- Completion of USAG Safety Certification and CPR Certification is required (can be completed during training period).
