Gymnastics Coach

Overview:

We are searching for an experienced gymnastics coach. We are looking for someone with teaching experience who is excited to join a team for our FIRST year for Leaps and bounds (LBG).

We are looking to find coaches to add to our team because our classes are filling up! We need extra coaches for our added sections. We are looking for someone who has availability Monday - Thursday between 4:30pm and 7:30pm. Days and times available will fall within that time frame.

Our coach will be responsible for creating a fun, supportive, and engaging learning environment that sees safety as their #1 priority.

We are looking for someone to coach starting ASAP!

Duties:

- Develop and implement engaging and challenging gymnastics practices that cater to students of all skill levels and ages.
- Plan and prepare lesson plans that align with our current student capabilities while finding new ways to challenge and excite our gymnasts.
- Manage behavior and ensure a safe and respectful environment for all students.
- Provide individualized feedback and support to students to help them improve their technique and build their confidence.
- Create a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student growth and development.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to their gymnastics experience.

Qualifications:

- Experience teaching gymnastics to children.
- Experience with special education or adult education is a plus.
- Excellent behavior management skills.
- Experience with lesson planning.
- A background in childcare is desirable.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- A passion for gymnastics and a commitment to sharing that passion with students.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 10 per week

Work Location: In person

Salary : $18 - $28
