This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing family business who values their employees and takes pride in what they provide to their loyal customer base!POSITION TITLE: Packaging SpecialistPOSITION SUMMARY: A fulfillment /packaging specialist gathers and assembles specific items into pre-packaged kits for shipment or production. This role involves picking products from inventory based on orders, ensuring all components are present and accurate, and preparing the final kits for distribution. Key duties include inventory tracking, quality control, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace to meet productivity goals.RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:Kitting and assembly: Gather specific items or products from inventory to assemble them into packages according to instructions or a master list.Order fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare completed kits for shipping to customers.Inventory management: Maintain accurate inventory records, which may include using inventory management software to track items and their locations.Quality control: Inspect components and finished kits to ensure they meet quality standards and that all necessary parts are included and correctly assembled.Warehouse operations: Place completed shipments in staging area, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and follow safety protocols.Documentation: Complete and reconcile work orders and maintain documentation for inventory and production purposes. QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent.1 year of packaging or assembly experience.Attention to detail: Crucial for ensuring all items are included in the correct quantities and meet quality standards.Ability to follow instructions: Must be able to read and understand pick lists, work orders, and other directives.Teamwork: Ability to work well with other team members across different departments. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of sporting goods products is a plus.PAY TRANSPARENCY: A reasonable estimate of the available {annual or hourly} pay scale for this position is: $21-24 per hour.
