As a trusted partner in the construction industry, we connect top talent with top companies across the United States.Job Type: ContractPay: $20 to $25 Per Hour BOEResponsibilities:Seeking experienced apprentice and lead painters dedicated to their trade with excellent craftsmanship and an outstanding work ethic is required.Must have own basic tools.Willingness to work as part of a team and on your own is expected. The ideal candidate will be capable of taking direction and criticism, be willing to learn and work well with others.Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and priming to ensure proper paint adhesionApply paint, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipmentMix and match paint colors to meet client or project specificationsPaint a variety of surfaces including drywall, wood, concrete, metal, and masonryAssess work areas and plan for materials, tools, and estimated time requirementsProtect surrounding areas using drop cloths, tape, and other covering methodsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the worksite before, during, and after paintingQualifications:High school or GED equivalent preferred.Any certifications: OSHA 10, OSHA 30, aerial lift, etc. preferred but not required.Must provide driver's license and proof of social security number.Brush, roll, and spray paint all types of surfaces, both interior and exterior.Experience in wall covering installation, staining and faux finishing preferred but not required.Physical Requirements:Able to safely ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and lifts.Adhere to all company safety policiesAble to frequently and safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.Must be able to talk or hear, sit, stand, bend, stoop, stretch, twist, use hands, and/or reach out for prolonged periods of timeMust have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordinationUse their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controlsMust be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles.Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.Must be able to work in inclement weather conditionsMust be able to work around wood dust and fumesMaybe exposed to heights and loud noisesMust be able to see color to discern color-coded wiringAbility to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.Must be aware of OSHA safety standardsPay Transparency: A reasonable estimate of the available hourly pay scale for this position is $20 to $25 Per Hour BOE.
