Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Electrician in Enid, OK. Leapros Skilled Trades is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician for a contract engagement supporting commercial and industrial electrical service work in Enid, OK. In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and OSHA safety guidelines. The ideal candidate brings proven hands-on experience in commercial and industrial electrical installations, can work independently in the field, and is dependable, punctual, and equipped with their own PPE and hand tools.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20 to $35 Per Hour BOE

Licenses/Certifications Required:

• Journeyman Electrician License
• OSHA 10

Responsibilities:

• Install, bend, and remove conduit to accommodate wiring needs.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Pull electrical wiring through conduit and connect it to circuit breakers, transformers, and outlets.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including conduit, lighting fixtures, electrical panels, transformers, switches, and motors.
• Perform routine inspections and service work on existing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with NEC standards, local codes, and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Perform physical site tasks including manually digging and back-filling holes and trenches as required by project scope.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical installations, supported by an apprenticeship or equivalent background.
• Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Proficiency in conduit bending, conduit installation, wire pulling, blueprint reading, schematic reading, and wiring diagram interpretation.
• Experience with electrical panel installation, lighting fixture installation, and transformer installation.
• Possession of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and hand tools.
• Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.

Physical Requirements:

• Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Must be able to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles.
• Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
• Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions, including extreme hot and cold temperatures.
• Must be able to work around wood dust and fumes.
• May be exposed to heights and loud noises.
• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
• Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and remain in stationary positions for long periods of time.
• Must be physically capable of manually digging and back-filling holes and trenches.
• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated pay range for this position is $20 to $35 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
