Our Client, (a well-known electrical contractor) is hiring a Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and has a strong background in job costing, WIP reporting, retainage, and construction billing!

📍 Location: Monroe, NC (Full-Time, ONSITE)
🎯 Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of accounting experience
- 3 years in construction industry
- Experience with Spectrum (preferred), Sage 300 CRE, Viewpoint Vista, Foundation, CMiC, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Strong experience with: Construction Accounting, Job Costing, WIP Reporting, Percentage-of-Completion Accounting, Retainage, Construction Billing, Revenue Recognition, and Multiple Active Construction Projects.
💻 What You'll Do:
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial statements and GAAP-compliant reporting
- Manage WIP schedules and revenue recognition
- Analyze job costs, project profitability, and budget variances
- Oversee retainage, change orders, subcontractor payments, and construction billing
- Partner with Project Managers and leadership on financial planning and forecasting
- Support audits, budgeting, and process improvements
- Mentor junior accounting staff
💲Compensation:
- $80,000 – $100,000 base salary
