What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at Leaping Lizards Learning Center?
Leaping Lizards is looking a qualified individual with teaching experience for our 4 year old classroom. The individual will responsible as Lead Teacher in developing and implementing our curriculum.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Prepare lesson plans, teach children, and instruct on basic skills.
- Evaluate children's progress and needs.
- Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)
- Provide a safe and positive environment.
- Maintain a clean classroom.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Ability to act as mediator between children
- Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
- Certification in child CPR
- Preferred degree in childhood education.
