What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist position at Leaping Language Pediatric Speech Therapy, LLC?
Description of Work: This position provides speech-language pathology services for children with developmental disabilities and emergent communication skills, many of whom require services in feeding/swallowing, augmentative communication and assistive technology. All therapy is conducted in the child’s natural environment (preschool, daycare or home). The primary purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive evaluations, service planning, consultations, direct treatments, and technical assistance to young children within the Baby Net system; develop and manage communication environments while working collaboratively with team members on communication-related goals.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge of treatment modalities used to enhance communication with children that are non-verbal and/or physically handicapped with severe or profound intellectual disabilities or communicative delays along with feeding/swallowing difficulties to establish rapport so effective habilitation may be delivered.
Training & Experience Requirements: CCC-SLP - Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and required supervised experience as required by the SC licensing statute. Possession of a current and valid certification (CCC) issued by the board of examiners for speech and language pathologist and audiologist.

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
