Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position as a Dental Assistant at our Springfield, MO location. The Dental Assistant will provide support to the dental team by preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, assisting during dental procedures, offering oral care guidance to patients, and ensuring all sterilization and infection control protocols are followed. The role requires excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Dental Care, Dentistry, and Oral Care procedures
- Experience in Dental Assisting with knowledge of chairside assistance and patient comfort
- Knowledge and application of Sterilization and infection control protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with children and families
- Certification in Dental Assisting or completion of a dental assistant training program preferred
- Basic knowledge of dental practice management systems is a plus
