Leap is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Commissions Specialist to support the administration and analysis of commissions and bonuses of Leap Distributors surgical sales teams. Ensuring accurate and timely commission processing while delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders is critical in this role. Essential Duties/Functions
- Sales Commission Administration: Own the end-to-end commission process from collecting and validating sales data to calculating payouts and reconciling discrepancies. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of all commission payments in partnership with Sales Operations, Finance, and Payroll.
- Commission Plan Implementation & Optimization: Support the design, modeling, and rollout of commission and incentive plans that align with company goals. Run what-if analyses, test payout models, and provide feedback on plan effectiveness and cost impact.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain regular commission and incentive reports for sales leadership and Finance. Provide insights on plan performance, attainment trends, and potential risks or anomalies.
- System & Process Management: Maintain data integrity across CRM (MS Business Central), and commission management tools. Identify process gaps and recommend automation or system improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales Operations, Finance, HR, and IT to ensure smooth execution of commission cycles and resolve data or policy issues quickly.
- Policy & Documentation: Maintain accurate commission plan documents, payout guidelines, and process documentation. Ensure plans are clearly communicated and consistently applied across all teams.
- Audit & Compliance: Conduct regular audits of commission calculations and data inputs to ensure compliance with plan terms and internal controls. Support internal and external audit reviews as needed.
- Ad Hoc Analysis & Support: Respond to leader and employee inquiries regarding commissions, plan details, and payments. Provide analytical support for new incentive initiatives or territory realignments.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field with at least 2 years of experience in sales compensation, finance, or data analysis, OR
- High School diploma or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in sales compensation, finance, or data analysis
