We are seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to lead a large-scale culinary production facility in Brooklyn, NY.

This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing a ~70,000 sq. ft. facility with 170 employees and approximately $30M in revenue. The business is in growth mode and looking for an operations leader who can drive transformation, improve efficiency, and help scale the facility from a single-shift operation toward a multi-shift environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day operations across a large-scale culinary production facility

• Oversee production across 8 lines, ensuring quality, consistency, throughput, and efficiency

• Drive operational transformation across processes, systems, labor, production, and workflow

• Scale operations from 1 shift toward a multi-shift environment as demand grows

• Partner with supply chain, warehousing, and production teams to improve overall plant performance

• Evaluate product capabilities and support expansion of production capacity

• Optimize labor planning across both contract and W2 employees

• Implement best practices around manufacturing, safety, food quality, and operational excellence

• Support acquisition integration and broader platform growth initiatives

• Identify bottlenecks, improve processes, and create scalable operating systems

Qualifications:

• Experience leading plant operations within food manufacturing, culinary production, foodservice, or a related environment

• Strong background in production scaling, process improvement, and operational transformation

• Experience managing large teams in a fast-paced production or manufacturing setting

• Ability to lead through change and build structure in a growing environment

• Experience with multi-shift operations or scaling from single-shift to multi-shift preferred

• Strong understanding of labor planning, production efficiency, safety, quality, and throughput

• P&L knowledge and strong business acumen

• Experience in a high-growth or Private Equity-backed environment is a plus
