We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to join our TEAM! Hours of Operation
Leap Ahead provides services at our clinic, homes, and schools during the following hours:
- Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
RBTs will work a schedule based on client availability and recommended treatment hours. Some flexibility is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in home, clinic, and school
- Follow treatment plans and behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA/BCaBA
- Accurately collect and record data on client progress
- Implement behavior reduction strategies when needed
- Maintain clear and professional communication with families and team members
- Attend supervision and training sessions as required
- Uphold client dignity, confidentiality, and ethical standards
- Maintain active RBT certification and adhere to BACB guidelines
Qualifications Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active RBT certification (BACB)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background checks
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to be physically active (play, bend, sit on floor, lift up to 25 lbs)
Preferred:
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental delays
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field
